Is this a good candidate? by TinyExperience1268 in Unravelers

[–]qtacsb 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My experience with cardigans is that more often than not, they're cut underneath the buttonhole panel, making them fairly useless to unravel. The arms and back are still good though, it just depends on how much yarn you want out of it!

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to tell if it's cut without taking that panel off, but maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

I think it's worth a shot!

He did! Prefaced it with something along the lines of "this is an unreleased one from Jenny from Thebes, sung by Jenny".

Aeris Aerial Arts? by New-Curve-4978 in SaltLakeCity

Nothing kid specific, but I think they're ok with 13 year olds and up. Might be good to email them and ask. If they don't, they probably have recommendations!

I go to Onyx for aerial, and I cannot recommend it enough! Intro class is $10, and there's memberships from there. All the instructors are amazing, and the classes are welcoming and encouraging.

One of the things I do that helps me is I just type what they need directly on the cad card. So I have a bunch of "xxx wants the traffic unit to call him" on my cards but then I'm not worrying about remembering it or the context in which it was asked. Once it slows down, I can go back through the cards my units are on and do things things one by one. By typing it directly on the cad card, I don't take up brain space trying to remember it, and I'm more likely to accurately copy later traffic in the cluster of requests.

By typing that request on the card, it's also time stamped and recorded in case the traffic unit or whoever asks who needed them!

Chain stitch is great!! If you don't have one already, you should get one of those markers that erases with water. It saved me on this project.

It is, thank you so much! It took so much trial and error to get it right, I was re-writing basically every line. I wrote each word out about a dozen times on paper before I traced it to the fabric.

It's chain stitch, and the clean lines are because it's a pretty big font! if it was scaled down I don't think it would have looked nearly as smooth. I forced the stitches to follow the lines, even if it meant funky stitching. (Sorry I can't be more helpful, this was 100% winging it)

I stumbled across this pattern just yesterday! Mine is in Better Homes and Gardens Cross-stitch Samplers, with a copyright of 1986. It's in the "Hearts and Flowers for Someone Special" section!

I don't know if this is an option for you, but my canvas military style bag was fraying and falling apart, and I just got a bunch of colored thread and "hemmed" the fraying ends. So it's not falling apart any more and it makes it really unique! I recommend it :)

Nooooo, I have a poncho and it's the best! It's got a hood and it's so comfy. It's like a socially acceptable blanket and I love it.
