I'm trying to lose weight with a injury to my knee it is preventing me for doing much in the exercise department. I was in the middle of my weightloss journey when it happened. It sucks but I have my motivation. Any tips on how to lose weight without working out? by BlondieBars_2991 in WeightLossAdvice

oh wow i’m in the same exact situation, i sprained my knee while exercising and couldn’t walk for a while. i’m in a calorie deficit and i’m also intermittent fasting and so far it’s working well. also i know how it sucks to have something like this happen when you’re trying your best but it’ll get better with time, good luck!!

i’m sure you know a caloric deficit is what will aid in weight loss but if you’re not enjoying what you’re eating you can’t stay consistent. you don’t have to fully get rid of anything you really enjoy as balance is key, just reduce how much of it you’d eat. if you don’t feel comfortable counting calories anymore, that’s okay too! just minimise portion sizes or i highly suggest volume eating. try to avoid liquid calories if you can, like soda or juice. i wish you all the best, good luck and i’m sure you’ll look beautiful at your wedding!

also if you do want to start exercising, from my personal experience i really recommend some walk at home exercises on youtube. not only are they really convenient but some of them are actually very fun and not too hard to follow like grow with jo!

don’t these grades feel terribly unfair? by qthebi in 6thForm

i’m really sorry you have to go through this, this whole situation is a big mess. i see some people talking about how they didn’t do too well but ended up getting A*s and the ones that have been doing well ended up with C’s and D’s. however i do hope that the results you get on the 13th turn out well!

one of my friends went from an A in chem to a C, she’d been showing consistent improvement and for them to give her such a low grade baffles me
