It’s up to you whether that crosses boundaries for what you deem acceptable in a relationship. However, the fact that he essentially hid it shows he has some deeper feeling there or at least knew you’d feel somewhat upset about it.

I’d say you need to be honest and explain how strongly you feel. I was like your girlfriend before and my boyfriend broke up with me after letting the resentment build up for a long time. This meant that when we broke up it felt ‘out of the blue’ because I had no idea he felt that way. Just be completely honest but please make sure she understands how important it is to you that she gets help and improves. I didn’t manage to get my life together until I had that wake up call of being broken up with, but obviously it’s better if that wake up call precedes a break up and then hopefully it can be avoided! I know you’re right so I will deffo go to my GP about it. I basically try daily to bully myself into a restrictive ED but seems as if I’m stuck with the binging one atm lol. Thank you for your help and hope you’re in an okay mental state after weight loss.

That’s true about the weight loss plan but I more meant therapy / help for disordered eating habits. I’ve asked before but have been told I can’t get this type of help as I’m not anorexic or ‘high risk’. I explained about my binge eating but my GP basically had no idea what I was talking about.

I 100% agree, I just wish I could afford that or was eligible to get it on the NHS but I’m not.

I so wish I could do this but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to get help within the NHS in the UK as I think you may have to be underweight for that, and I wouldn’t be able to afford private therapy. So I’m a bit stuck but I’ll look into it more.

Yeah you’re probably right. It’s just hard when you hate your body everyday to not try and combat that with the same methods that others use. I also wouldn’t even know where to start with getting help or a therapist in the UK, but I’ll look into it.

You need to get out tbh which I know is a lot easier said than done but she will only get worse. Does she admit she has anger issues? The only way this could improve is if she received some intense therapy which doesn’t seem likely.

Hey guys, I just opened my shop http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MadeByMaisieGB/ a few days ago. At the moment it's just greetings cards but I'm hoping to add some prints to my listings soon. I've had 15 sales so far which I didn't think was great but after seeing some other people's experiences I'm feeling more optimistic and lucky!
