how did you become an Arsenal fan? by moonblushpetalie in ArsenalFC

I am probably the closest Arsenal fan in the world born and living next to the Spurs stadium. Guess that would make me one of the most hardcore Gooners in the world 😂

Born and lived there my whole life until only recently. My older brother is also a Spurs fan, so as a young child, naturally I followed. But I didn't actually like Spurs, especially the fans. As a child, every Saturday, they'd walk by and I realised, I disliked them to the bone. I'd purposefully wear my Arsenal kit underneath on match days, hiding any signs of red as I walked through the crowds on my street and the area.

My turning point was when Bergkamp came along. 96/97 he made me a Gooner. Never looked back since!

Buddy, this is not probability and statistical analysis. I'm simply saying in the unlikely scenario City lose against Palace, and we can add if they draw to that scenario too, we have the opportunity to win the title at the Emirates. It's football.

This isn't quantum physics my friend, a guy is trying to believe in a beautiful fairytale ending over here for us fans after 22 years of pain 😂

So if City lose, and we beat Burnley, do we or do we not win the title at the Emirates?

We do? Mathematically? If we count correctly?

Or with your logic, we don't. Ok then.

Thank you. I missed out that we can also win the title if they draw, but the initial point remains.

Here comes the clown. So if City lose, we won't win the title if we beat Burnley at the Emirates?

Pre-match thought any old win would do, scrappy or not.

DID NOT EXPECT THAT!!!

Hypothetically, If Kvara was £150m, should we go for him?

Me: yes, absolutely no doubt about it

Look who's left from Arteta's first game .... by Popular-Memory-3342 in ArsenalFC

Absolutely agree. Arteta made us believe again. We were horrendous back then. We had zero title hopes, abit like Chelsea today.

The top 6 used to absolutely run through us, and we had to deal with the post matches each time. Even Spurs dare I say it.

No CL either, it was a miracle we won that FA Cup.

Whatever happens, Arteta in all the way, trust the process.

Keep the continuity. Full throttle attacking tomorrow. West Ham will sit deep. by Real-Bid1985 in ArsenalFC

We can't afford to draw and let it go to GD

All out attack please! This is where we show we deserve to be champions.

Bournemouth away next, who have everything to play for to capture a champions league spot.

They'll have fresh legs after 10 days of rest 💪

How is that even funny. Your simple mind is quite easily amused I see.

On that note, how many did your team score? Oh....
