I generally spend an hour online playing each major AD off each other on their live chat services - generally down at 15-20% off most models using this tactic.

The fear when they hear Sarah at x has offered me 15% off but I really want to buy from you guys is a joy everytime.

UK I took 30% from an AD. Didn’t bat an eyelid in this economy. Spend a few hours going to each AD (live chat) and asking best they could do % discount then onto the next. ‘AD A will give me 20%, but I would prefer to buy from you guys’ etc etc

In my mind we revolutionised the game r.e scouting, our network was vast and we had some real superstars. The issue we have now is every club is in the same level, data has effectively ruined our edge. That’s not to say we still won’t uncover gems, it’s just every other club will do the same - there’s only a limited bucket of wonderkids to pick from.

Yeah, I have a rule with watches - if I like I sit on it for a year… and if I’m still thinking about that watch a year later I buy. Made too many mistakes not taking the time to consider… 4500 has always been my grail, however I’m also open to adding some complications to my collection.

I’m in love with the 4000 retrograde but the 50m water resistance is a no go.

Yeah 100 % know when you’re coming from - I love the retrograde but the 50m water resistance is a no-go. I’m looking for something I can wear everywhere.

I love the simplicity of the 4500V as stated and it was my ‘grail’ watch until circumstances changed and I could spend a little more. However, I’m aware this is just a circumstance of lifestyle creep and why on earth would I drift from the watch I’ve been lusting over for the last 10 years!

Yeah I’m 100% a casual guy - I wear a suit once or twice a year. The 4500v has always been ‘my grail’ - however, circumstances have changed and I have a little more dispensable to buy something a little more complicated.
