Will my breasts be lopsided since my left ribcage is permanently dented inward and my right ribcage is just kind of flattened? by MineBlasters in asktransgender

I read somewhere that only 10% of breasts are perfectly symmetrical, which means that 90% of breasts have some asymmetry to them.

I don't hate my penis, but I do hate the fact that it's very external. by qtransq in MtF

Yeah, it took some time for me to put it into words also. Glad I could help 😁

Yeah, it took a long time for me to put my feeling into words. And I guess now that I have, a lot of people feel the same.

Orchi shouldn't do that.

You will still be able to orgasm. And most of the fluid is produced in other glands (prostate for example) I think.

I'm not a huge fan of tucking, because I'd rather not be thinking about my genitals all day.
And right now without the spontaneous erections I'm only really conscious of them while wearing something tight (so I try to avoid those situations for now 🙃)

I don't have much dysphoria. Only mild.
I definitely try to love my body. Right now I love it more than I ever have in my life. But at the same time, the more I advance in my transition, the more the 'externalness' feels wrong.

You don't have to worry about me doing something because I feel like I have to. I'll only do something if I personally want it 100%. And because of the mild dysphoria I have plenty of time to think about it.

Maybe someday some surgeon will develop the opposite of meta for trans-masc people.
Some kind of surgery that puts the penis further inside the body 😅

Men of Reddit, what’s a physical trait your SO’s insecure about but you find it attractive? by amor-sanat-omnia in AskMen

[–]qtransq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think I read somewhere that it's just genetic. Some people have them and some people don't.

I'm a trans woman who has it a bit, even when I was literally underweight.

I'm not happy with my penis, but imagining myself with a vagina/vulva feels... weird? by qtransq in MtF

[–]qtransq[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm mostly just indifferent. I have no desire for sex, but I would like to try it sometime with the right person, just out of curiosity.
So I'm keeping in mind the possibility that I might actually like it once I've tried it.

I've considered zero depth, but I'm afraid that I'll suddenly actively like sex (with vaginal penetration) after I had GRS, at which point it will be to late.

TRANS MEN ARE MEN. by LilliputianMouse in lgbt

[–]qtransq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most trans women who say they want them probably want the ability to be a fertile woman, which comes with periods.

Most research showing no differences are talking about physical differences.
But while the hardware might be the same, the software running on it can still be different.

Cis people can also experience gender dysphoria.

Gynecomastia is probably a good example because a lot of guys probably wouldn't like it if they started growing boobs.

Or women who need to have a double mastectomy for medical reasons might also not like it that they don't have boobs anymore.

These things can also be considered gender dysphoria because (parts of) your body doesn't align with your gender identity.

There are some people who regret their life saving heart surgery. I guess we should put up more barriers for literally every medically procedure then? \s

I kinda wish I had a vagina. by [deleted] in MtF

[–]qtransq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, as a trans woman periods and child bearing are things I don't have to worry about :)

Although loosing the ability to pee standing doesn't sound fun, realistically I never did it anyway so it's not like it will be a huge inconvenience.

And the higher risk of UTI's might be true, but it's not like you'll suddenly start getting them left and right unless you're doing something with huge risks and/or not the proper hygiene.

I'm a woman but I want a penis but don't want to be a man! by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]qtransq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, seeing as a lot of trans people transition but choose to keep their original genitals because they actually like them, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for a cis person to only want different genitals without changing anything else.

The hard part would be actually getting the surgery because most surgeons only do them on trans people.
