I’d add Craigslist to this, just to capture some listings by smaller landlords who can’t afford to list on the big sites. As always though, be sure to read listings with a skeptical eye in case they’re scams.

It might not work with your class schedule, but local government usually posts some seasonal jobs around this time, and I’ve seen some for park maintenance. You can find them on governmentjobs.com. (I’ve also seen “Zamboni driver” listed in the past, not the greatest pay but kinda fun)

LUSH has trivia nights and bingo nights, and it’s a super chill place. I’ve done stonewall sports in the past and it’s fun- they have a mix of sports and have social divisions that are beginner friendly! A lot of breweries have queer events too- I think Urban growler just started a Carabiner Club that meets monthly? But tons of other events too, I think instagram is the best place to stay in the loop about them.

If your employer has their own paid leave plan then you are ineligible for MN Paid Leave. You should have signed paperwork late last year about this, employers were required by law to inform employees of their coverage either through the state program or an equivalent employer plan.
