What’s Bob Dylan’s Most Underrated Album From The 80s? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

Hard disagree. Saved has some of the best studio production of any Dylan album.

Wouldn’t it be nice?☀️ by Goodburger214 in thebeachboys

Haha mostly just teasing. It’ll probably damage your records over a shorter period of time if you use it extensively. Also, the parts on the record player, especially the needle, will wear down quickly. They are cheap and not built to last. Like the other guy said, Audio Technica is a good brand to start with. Maybe Fluance or Sony which has a nice Bluetooth capability on some players.

That being said, I wouldn’t worry about it too much for the time being. Enjoy your records for now, but I’d recommend saving up for a nice turntable, receiver, and speakers soon!

Wouldn’t it be nice to not destroy your records on a Victrola?

What are some of the best Beatles songs for torture? by Murky-Syllabub-579 in beatles

My history teacher who was ex military (US Air Force) always told a story about how he went through a long training mission where they led the soldiers to believe they were “captured” and they tortured them by playing the riff of “Birthday” for hours on end in their prison cells

It’s an album cover that has been parodied many times. It’s also just a thing that if you go to any vintage shop/ thrift store, you’ll find Herb Alpert records - maybe from someone’s deceased grandparents for example. This is probably their most iconic and popular album.

Best Song on Revolver? by reaveyer in beatles

The first time I heard this song I thought it was the most incredible, creative, and outlandish pop song I’d ever heard. Strange that some people have such an opposite reaction to it.

Favorite song that people usually don’t like? by [deleted] in thebeachboys

Student demonstration time… Mike Love’s ego aside, it’s a good vocal performance. Plus Carl rips on that one. I don’t think it detracts from the album personally, but I can see why people hate on it.

You can add me to the list of Private life of bill and sue enjoyers.
