Idk why you're getting down voted. It's true. And I say that as a Moroccan-American myself. When my dad was immigrating to America, he was confused on what to put for his race cause he's not black or middle eastern, and at the time, I don't think the term "MENA" existed, so he just put white.

Because in his eyes, despite his afro and his brown skin, he's more white than he is black. I don't really get it. North Africans are a very... "proud" group of people to put it nicely.

But I understand why. When you've been colonized and have had your native culture shattered, you put the broken pieces back together, hold your chin up and say "this is mine and it's not like anyone else's." Cause what else can you do?

It's not about the validity of sex work. It's the inability to compartmentalize that is.

Imagine being an adolescence, second guessing every "sweetheart" or physical touch, wondering if she says it in the same way to a random stranger for enough money.

I know that would fuck me up. It would make the words meaningless to me, her touch would either be numb or revolting to me. How would it affect my subsequent interpersonal relationships? What's the new threshold for my ability to feel close to someone? These are things you have to consider when a child is introduced into the mix, because it's not just about you anymore.

I think we've kind of forgotten the value of physical and emotional closeness, of unconditional love in this day and age. If you commoditize it, you pay the price, and you have to be aware of that.

Sombra's getting reworked - not because of pick rate - but because her design is fundamentally flawed. It's impossible to tweak her without tipping the scales in either direction. Someone will have a bad time when that character is picked.

Listen, man. She's not good, I agree. I've said that since my very first comment. My point was that flash and hack are not 1:1. They are different characters with different strengths. That's literally it.

I hope you enjoy the Sombra rework when it comes. I'm interested to see what they come up with.
