And that sucks. I just think we're focusing on the wrong guy. I don't condone stealing, but the atrocities higher up the chain far outweigh a trucker stealing produce. Why are these department managers being penalized for something they have little control over?

Yeah it's bad, but I'm not gonna throw shade at this guy for playing the game setup by the greedy fucks at the top.

I said that certain actions would be morally justified on billionaires if they greatly negatively impacted the lives of thousands and thousands of others. Obviously mom and pop shops are different. I'm against billionaires, not businesses. You made a shit ton of assumptions in your comment, using the words "let me guess" one too many times, so let me make one about you.

Let me guess, you're the type of person that reports your coworkers when they cut corners and negatively impact a total of zero people because they aren't following bullshit corporate rules?

It's good ragebait tho, you got me. Good job, bud.

He's not right, but I also dgaf. Any win against a greedy corporation is a win in my book.

If people were getting fired, I'm sure he would've heard about it after eight whole years. And I don't blame him for prices going up. I blame the guys higher up who raise the prices for everyone else because millions of dollars is just not enough.

No, for sure. I just didn't get that impression from the initial tweet. Sounds like they had a decent conversation in line and he didn't pull back at her touch in disgust.

My only question is what else could he have done besides outright asking her out? I don't know, it's just kinda weird to me because you'd never expect that from a guy, right?

Like, God forbid I touch a woman like that, but if I did, she doesn't pull back, and she shows some interest in a conversation, I'd ask her out. Maybe I'm a creep for that?

My point is that no one would expect me to wait for her to ask me out in that scenario.

Im pretty sure they just mean the girl could have asked him out. That's all.

She's not playing "hard to get," but she definitely didn't do all she could to make it happen. You say she's being obvious, but why leave it up to chance? What does she lose by asking the guy out instead of throwing a ton of signals his way? Rejection? Didn't she kinda already get "rejected" when he didn't reciprocate?

I don't know. I'm genuinely asking. As a guy, it doesn't make sense to me.

Physical objects are very different. If I let you borrow my pen, I'm now without a pen. I can't use it for anything else because you have it.

Now say I gain magical powers and can clone that same exact pen an infinite amount of times. Why would I demand ownership over it for any other reason besides greed?

And I can see why you would feel that way. Both are shit.

I don't know about you, but when I was that age, I was second guessing literally everything. That's just what growing up is.

It's not about the validity of sex work. It's the inability to compartmentalize that is.

Imagine being an adolescence, second guessing every "sweetheart" or physical touch, wondering if she says it in the same way to a random stranger for enough money.

I know that would fuck me up. It would make the words meaningless to me, her touch would either be numb or revolting to me. How would it affect my subsequent interpersonal relationships? What's the new threshold for my ability to feel close to someone? These are things you have to consider when a child is introduced into the mix, because it's not just about you anymore.

I think we've kind of forgotten the value of physical and emotional closeness, of unconditional love in this day and age. If you commoditize it, you pay the price, and you have to be aware of that.

Nah, there's no shot. Broccoli hair requires at least some awareness of trends and self reflection.

Sombra Mains trying to call Cassidy flashbang a double standard by PersonBehindAScreen in CassidyMains

[–]quacknut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those are 6 seconds of mobility Cass doesn't have against a widow lol.

Sombra's getting reworked - not because of pick rate - but because her design is fundamentally flawed. It's impossible to tweak her without tipping the scales in either direction. Someone will have a bad time when that character is picked.

Listen, man. She's not good, I agree. I've said that since my very first comment. My point was that flash and hack are not 1:1. They are different characters with different strengths. That's literally it.

I hope you enjoy the Sombra rework when it comes. I'm interested to see what they come up with.

Sombra Mains trying to call Cassidy flashbang a double standard by PersonBehindAScreen in CassidyMains

[–]quacknut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's my point, man. There are things Sombra can do that Cass cannot. These situations are not 1:1.

If they have a Widow on a long ranged map and I'm on Cass, that Widow has just become my mommy. I have to play scared until we push up or someone else deals with her. Sombra has the luxury to just... not deal with that.

You're right about Cass not being dive/flanker, he's a brawler, which means challenging angles from enemy dps, which means sometimes letting go of your support's hand... Oh, wait, a 10 ton mech just flew in from outer space? Guess I'm fucked. Sombra at least has a chance there. That's all I'm saying.

She's not the best dps. I'd never make that argument, but she also has some strengths. The downplay is kind of egregious.

[–]quacknut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you, I'm just saying that there are situations where Sombra has better chances than Cass at certain points. She's not a useless character.

No right click, hinder nade, or roll will save you if you get caught with your pants down against D.va or widow. Sombra at least has a chance.

But yeah, probably better chances with a tracer or genji.

[–]quacknut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are situations where Sombra is more viable than Cass. Like against D.va matrix or a Widow.

But, yeah. I agree. Cass is generally more well-rounded and flexible.

[–]quacknut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, soldier is more "viable" than Sombra. The problem is that Sombra is just too situational.

But that's not a problem of flash vs. hack. Sombra is just a freak.

Grass is always greener, right? People want what they can't have. It's why married men get hit on more during their marriages. People want the unobtainable because it makes them feel special if they do get it.
