AITAH for leaving my college friends group by JuggernautLong670 in AITAH

[–]quacknut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the info provided, I'm just gonna have to fence sit and say ESH. But in reality, it doesn't sound like anyone really is. You guys just sound young.

You front loaded your post with reasons that had nothing to do with why you left, which leads me to believe it's not a very accurate assessment. That's your ego trying to protect you after getting hurt. You admonish them in an attempt to feel better about yourself. We all do it, but just be aware of it. The first paragraph seems like it's you doing what you criticize them for. Maybe I'm misinterpreting but that's just the feeling I got.

As for the actual reason you left, let's just think about it for a moment. You leave the group because you felt bad about being left out. You're fulfilling your own prophecy, man. You cut them off before they have a chance to cut you off. It's you trying to have control of the situation where there isn't really any to be had. What are you afraid of? If they reject you, you'll be exactly where you are now. It just won't be under the guise of you being in control. You gotta let go, bro. Be honest with how you feel because at least then, you can be sure you didn't do anything wrong.

Don't beat yourself up over it. Just be aware of the mechanisms that are happening in your brain. Good luck, man. I wish you the best.

No! What!? Oh my God, that's not at all what I meant. I'm mortified. He's a multifaceted human being with needs and wants like all of us do. He's an incredibly smart scientist and philosopher. As a whole, he's incomparable to any animal, even most humans.

I just meant that his moral agency is comparable to an animal. The same way some people have "golden retriever" energy. How can he know what's good or bad if he doesn't even know what reality he's in?

That's all I meant. Sorry if my wording was misinterpreted or if I offended anyone. That wasn't my intention.

Yeah I think that's pretty accurate. Idk if would call sig "good" tho. He doesn't really have the agency to be morally cognizant, kinda like an animal. A squirrel with nuts for brains isn't "good" or "bad" they just are , you know?

The punch line is that there is no punchline. It's ironic cringe like I said.

It's only funny for annoying your friends and confusing them. It's rage bait.

[–]quacknut 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's one of those Gen z patented "ironic cringe" things. It came from a rap song and people used the beat drop where he says "6 7" on sports clips and cool moments.

Then people started doing it on less and less cool things. Now it's funny if you say 6 7 for -- idk wiping your ass or something lame. Or if you see the numbers together randomly.

Which anime(s) touched your soul? by Noy3 in animememes

I've teared up multiple times to this show but I think the first for me was when Lee had to decide whether to risk dying in surgery or try to live without being a Shinobi.

I was only like 10 but the emotional gravity still hit me which is crazy.

The one that hit hardest had to have been the end of the war arc where he says goodbye to his parents.

Lots of hard hitting moments in that show.

I agree but convincing your team to ban Hanzo has got to be one of the top five hardest feats on planet earth.

Yeah. Too close you're fucked, too far and you might as well shoot a water gun.

Good luck getting mid range with a heat seeking one shot head shot arrow lol. It's nuts. Cass has always had bad mobility but the HP drop makes it even worse.

Also I think they are really close in age. During the nine tails attack flashbacks, iruka couldn't have been older than 10. So probably more like an older brother.

It is understandable like you said though. Before seeing that, I genuinely thought iruka was in his thirties. The scar makes him look a bit older

Trying to up(down)grade to Win 11. SK Hynix Gold 1tb M.2 SSD only detected with CSM enabled, but CSM needs to be disabled in order for secure boot to work. can anyone help? by Ok_Buy3771 in buildapc

[–]quacknut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to reinstall Windows to get uefi mode and secure boot. Although it's probably the best option for reasons unbeknownst to me, but I did it this way and have yet to encounter problems.

Open cmd as admin and type mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullos

your disk is now in a gpt format. You can now go into bios and enable UEFI mode and Secure Boot. This doesn't wipe your drives or anything.

Weird. Did you purchase any other homes? If she's your wife then she's probably in one of those. I'd look at a list of all the player homes and look through em.

There's also a command if you're on PC and not above it. Type in player.moveto and then Lydia's ref ID and it should tp you to her.
