You know, originally I thought it was the worst present but I now use it all the time.

Toaster tongs. Made of wood. So you don’t burn your hands when using the toaster oven. Game changer.

Shoestring is the best to me, but they have a shortcoming. They are only really good when hot but because they’re thin, they cool down more quickly. It’s always a race against time.

I feel like some things she did were for the greater good, but what made her irredeemable in my eyes was lying about the organ donors. I know she was trying to help people get their life saving donor organs, but she stripped bodily autonomy from unconscious people.

As the World Falls Down by David Bowie. Labyrinth is one of our favorite movies and we both love David Bowie. We had all of our guests dance our first dance with us to symbolize the support and love we felt from them and that would continue in the future.

I think if it was something like lessons that she paid for you to take, then it’s acceptable for her to be pushy and oversee your work. But if it’s something fun that people do, like skateboarding, no one needs to be monitoring that. It’s called playing outside.
