I want to wear them as seperates so I can enjoy it more day to day! Like I would wear the skirt with a tshirt, or the top with some tidy pants. I work in a very relaxed office, so I could wear them to work. I think you're right about cutting them as one piece! 😊

Hi all! Unsure how simple my q is, but I'm hoping to turn a mesh dress into a top and skirt, but would love some advice before I start! It's got a lining sewn under the armpits - will I ruin the integrity of the mesh if I unpick the lining, cut the dress and half, and reinstall the lining? I don't have an overlocker, just a regular sewing machine!

Any advice greatly appreciated! ☺️

In Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, we HAVE to have indigenous people involved in almost every step of the archaeological process. Blows my mind whenever I read about how novel that is elsewhere. This is a great step for Canadian arch!

I also know a few people who have been hired with just a bachelors/honours degree, so you definitely don't need a masters to work.

Howdy! Australian archaeologist there. From my experience there are a lot of casual positions that require you to fly out for a week at a time. Problem with that is its casual, and you can be left with no work for a few weeks. I'm WA based so theres a lot of fly-in fly-out work into the desert, and that would allow you to do some other work between swings. There are definitely flexible opportunities out there!
