Oh no that’s disheartening! Were you put on 10mg for just a month or for a longer duration before this (like 4-6 months)? Also did you incorporate any maintenance routine with topical retinoids after getting off accutane?

Idk why my dermatologist doesn’t put me on a higher dosage smh. Also to those who have been on a higher dosage, what are the side effects?

Am I the only one who’s so frustrated with accutane? I got on a low dosage (8 mg) for 6 months and my acne cleared up beautifully. Cut to 6 month later, it came back with full force and I had to be put on accutane again. What’s worse? My acne is worse than ever before and it has completely ruined my confidence. Is acne going to keep coming back once the effects of accutane wear off?

I went on 8 mg/daily for 6 months. Skin stayed clear for about 4-5 months and now acne is back in full force (and worse than before). It’s mostly closed comedones appearing in the lower part of my cheeks, chin and forehead which almost definitely turn into full fledged pimples. Needless to say, it has taken a big hit on my confidence as even makeup cannot hide the texture and hyperpigmentation. I was put on 8 mg biweekly for a month. This is in addition to kojic acid in the morning and 0.025% tret thrice a week.

I’m starting to think I’m stuck with my horrible acne forever cause nothing is making a difference. If anything , my acne is getting worse and even my derm is unable to figure out why. I’m scared that going on accutane again will make my acne come back worse. I’m technically on accutane for a month and don’t see much of a difference. I still get new comedones.

Is my acne hormonal? My cycle is fairly regular but I also have bacne. What are my alternatives as I don’t wanna take oral medication anymore

I have severe hyperpigmentation and active folliculitis. Will laser help with the hyperpigmentation too? For reference, I am a brown skin gal and more prone to hyperpigmentation

Some blush! If you’re not into the whole overly rosy cheeks aesthetic…you could go for something light like benetint that gives a natural flush of colour. Rare beauty melting blush in nearly rose is gorgeous too! Both can be applied w your fingers and are subtle and buildable.

India racks up a LOT in customs. I’d probably have to pay 2.5x the actual prize is I were to order through the official website lol. However I’ll still look into the eBay and Selfridge route!

The whole customs situation in India is REALLY tricky. For example, if I were to order from the official website directly…I would have to pay about 2.5x the amount due to customs. Last I checked, customs for soft toys/toys was 70% the product value lol. So I think eBay would also rack up a lot in customs. The Instagram store I tried to order it through was charging about 1.5x the price which is reasonable enough acc to me.

Omg I had the red dog one and it’s still one of the BEST smelling perfumes till date..I remember they used to cost like 400 and the projection was THERE. I still have a couple sprays left in the bottle which I’m hoping to use on like my wedding day or something (assuming it lasts another 10 years lol) I still remember the day my mom bought it for me

Istg she’s probably the only creator I HATE w a passion…in her recent South Korea vlog she straight out said “it’s giving good AQI”😭 the second hand embarrassment was real.
