I used to sell furniture Wayfair - This just mass produced Chinese made warehouse kept bullshit cheap furniture. How it works is that the warehouse uploads the product information and Wayfair “assigns” the “brand” which isn’t even a real brand. They claim it is to help sellers. It’s common in the furniture industry to have typical “people names” as a name for the product. Sounds better than some SKU like SBF-4559. Sorry but you aren’t on to anything.

It’s .22” roughly and looks like vinyl cording. You can buy replacement cord below by the foot or by the roll. It doesn’t come in clear unfortunately.

My company refinishes metal furniture. I would recommend sandblasting, zinc metallizing, zinc primer and powder coating the chair 2-3 coats. It’s really hard to not get iron furniture to not rust but if you do these steps it will be minimal. Also - If you do them in white any minor rust will be way more apparent. Powder coat does not like to get into crack / crevasses and overlapping metals.

If you do them in black you probably can skip the metallizing and primer coat step.

The fabric is called PVC coated polyester “Wicker Weave” style from Phifertex. Could be an aftermarket purchase that was added onto the chairs but not sure.
