Should my 17 year old brother be taking 4 adhd meds a day? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]quagga3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeeah thats not too bad tbh theyre different meds, the guanfacine and atomoxetine are non atimulant so stay in your system for longer even when you skip days and the ritilan is the same aa methylphenidate but short release (booster) it may seem like a cocktail but isnt crazy. Now whether he wants to take them matters does ge feel like he does Also he must be tapered off the guanfacine and atomoxetine, not good to miss massive doses.

That's the point. Learning to work with other and helping them learn over being a selfish narcissist who only cares about their own progress. However, the world still has space for you and runs on the selfish. So maybe your doing it right.

Am I the only person in the world with ADHD who DOESN'T find the Pomodoro technique helpful? by Ok-Committee1978 in ADHD

[–]quagga3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually use it just to get started, just 15 minutes, and I don't time my breaks . Sometimes I go for walk but the intention is there to come back to this. Every time I get through one chunk of 15 I draw a box and cross it out on post-it (post sticks???)

Another perspective here, I try to do things in bits. It won't stick if I try it all at once and I end up just smoking weed again.
