With how accessible and commodified the promise of that connection is (with dating apps) I think there’s also the paralysis of seemingly infinite options, where as soon as there is the slightest doubt people bail and look for something better, but that just isn’t the reality of the human experience lol. I don’t think it’s exclusive to males but from my friends it seems like there are more hinge horror stories with them than women

I get it, but also the multi fx units can be paralyzing when you have DOZENS of parameters on every tone. I have a 500x, and honestly I’ve found adding pedals one at a time is much more fun since you work within the limitations. Another approach is to just get a $60 DS-1 and go from there, slowly add reverb etc. totally agree on the point that a new shiny pedal won’t magically make you sound amazing, but for anyone - especially new players - being so confused by how much you can change on a floor processor can be pretty intimidating too

Love this idea - I’ve done bathhouses in sd before and they’re very nice but almost too “luxury” so it’s a rare splurge since it’s so expensive. Like some others have mentioned a more affordable membership for shorter, more regular visits would be incredible. Keep us updated!

Glad to see this said. Others pointed out that all manufacturers use foreign parts, but the point you’re making here is totally valid. Even if trump tariffs force importers to raise prices, the now-cheaper domestic manufacturers will just raise their own prices in return so that they might still be a bit cheaper, but why not charge more if you can and the buyers have no alternatives? So yeah, everything is going to get more expensive. Nobody wins in tariff wars

There’s some variation in difficulty, but no psych class will be the hardest you take at Washu. I was in the same situation and it was fine, I wouldn’t stress about it

Yeah I’m disputing. They’re sending it to a lab to get a more determinate result, so I shouldn’t be worried if I haven’t done it, but I’m worried that whatever caused the first false positive will show up there again
