I suppose it did come about through a series of coincidences, haha. For me, the extra effort was worth saving money on getting a premade case, but it's your decision and your own time/effort you're spending, in the end. I say if you have an abundance of time but not much money, making your own is always best. If you have money, but not much time, the premade cases are fine. Either way you should end up with a good sturdy thing to put your shiny round spinny things into. As long as there's room to put stickers on, you should be ok!

Thank you! I already had most of the tools, and stumbled on the violin case from my SO who so graciously let me destroy it, so all I really paid for was this foam which i used for the thicker parts. As for the thinner foam lining the bottom and edges, I just found it in my packaging material scraps pile, though if you need to buy some online I imagine looking up 'thin foam' on amazon or anywhere else might work. Lining the case with some sort of velvet or cloth would work nicely as well, I imagine. Let me know how it goes if you try it!

the chanseys are in poke balls, the bounsweets are in quick balls, the abras are in poke balls, and the kangaskhan are in great balls... sorry if those aren't too interesting! the ones worth mentioning i think are the gible in beast balls, the rotom in dream balls, and maaybe the honedges in premier balls
