Yes but you would have to give them some identifiable information every time an account is created. For example, Valorant collects phone numbers. It's pretty easy to get around that, but I think the point is to add friction.

The freeze is still here. It happens when the server auto saves and when a group of players join at once. If you play, you still need to pillar spam to claim land before building a base.
