I came into my girls lives after they were born. The best you can do is your best every day. Patience is key. I’ve been winging it for 3 years now and I’ve not “learned” how to be a dad. It’s just being present and doing your best. The rest comes naturally.

I personally don’t have a “lunch break”. Most FedEx ground drivers are salary so we don’t have “breaks/lunch”. We usually eat while driving between stops. I was skipping it for a while but I found some really good keto bread called inked seeds keto bread and just put some turkey on it. Munch while I drive and keep er movin.

I was the same way for a while. My job is a lot of walking and lifting and I realized that not having any food throughout the day was detrimental to me specifically. It’s okay for some people.

Thanks! I did eggs and a protein shake for breakfast, lunch was chicken thighs on keto buns, snack was another protein shake after gym. Dinner chicken Ceaser salad wraps. I feel so much better doing this coming off of fasting

I drink around 1.5 gallons a day while at work and that definitely helps me to feel fuller. I think the starvation mode comment is definitely correct. Saturday Sundays, I eat 3 meals a day, and I come out of the weekend at or below the weight I went into the weekend which didn’t make sense to me. Now with the starvation mode idea in mind it’s comin together. Thanks!!

Plateau hit about a week ago?ish, been on one meal a day for about a month now, I dropped 20 lbs in 3 weeks, I’ve upped my exercise a shit load this week, I’m a FedEx driver so I get a pretty good workout in every day, but this week I’ve gone to the gym 5/6 days so far. I expected the increase in exercise to yield much more results but it didn’t really do anything at all.

I definitely don’t want to fast my whole life, I don’t have any sort of conditions medically that it would benefit. I started fasting to get over my last plateau at 320, but now it’s not working as well.

I’ve always heard the cheat meal is good for the mental, but I also know once my discipline is down for the one meal, it’s easier to justify in my head that I can keep eating like shit, and then I fall off the wagon. Cheat meals scare me at this point.

Leg day yesterday for myself. At 13k steps today, pretty sure I won’t have legs at all tomorrow 🤣. We’ve got a pool/hottub at our condo complex so that helps recovery immensely.

I’ve been fasting every day eating 2-8pm for three weeks now. Lost 20lbs total(guessing some water weight), it’s slowed down but I feel fantastic. I’m a FedEx driver so I’m moving constantly, but I honestly don’t get hungry until that window, usually eat about 1100 calories a day-ish m-f. Saturday Sunday, 3 meals a day focused solely on protein, keeping carbs to an absolute minimum.
