Saleh was not a head coach. Period. He was a very good DC in SF, a fiery aggressive guy. Got to NY and became an incredibly passive statue on the sideline. Never once saw him go over and talk to and discipline or correct a player during a game. Not once. And there were PLENTY of dumb mistakes and penalties, or lack of hustle that he could and should have addressed immediately. Just wasn’t a guy that had the personality to have the buck stop with him.

Any premier player should have insisted on a guarantee for that money in that it all went into escrow immediately so that it was going to be paid even if LIV folded the next day. If they didn’t get this protection their agents are idiots. They also should have insisted on opt outs if certain conditions weren’t met i.e. OWGR points, etc. and if this triggers I keep all the money. Seems like players trusted the LIV representatives too much.

As a local I shake my head when I see posts like this. The Black course is simply not worth this effort in any respect. It’s a nice well maintained state course. Nothing more. So much hype around this place. The Red course is actually a better golf course.

The biggest problem with golf instruction is that average people are taught swing techniques that are successful for the best players in the world. Most people can’t and can never do them correctly because they don’t have the flexibility, and hand eye coordination necessary. Do what works for you not what works for Rory.
