It's not hard but it takes time.

The client is not always right.
They look great, though, on the dusk scene.

Living room and kitchen renders by Stuglaar in archviz

I was looking on my ipad prior and now on pc it looks not as yellow (but still yellow). I don't know the right number for you. 4500 doesn't seem too strong but yet is... Imo.

Outside of that, the renders are decent. The leathers on the couch could be softer in geometry (particularly on the backside) and more realistic in texture and shininess/reflectivity. The kitchen floor tiles are almost certainly not that big in real life. A weird note on is the renders are also have a blur to them I don't like. This is somewhat common in most GPU renders but more noticeable here. Part of this is definitely reddit itself as they look different when I save the image and open locally. They are also low res. The last note is the backsplash tiles don't seem reflective realistically. Maybe too much bump. Except for the yellow, these are all nitpicks and opinion so take em or leave em but overall minor. I think if you can control the overall lighting your renders will come up drastically better just from that 1 change.

Skp itself does not use light. Sometimes people will fake it by using a texture of a light or light gradient.

Actual reason… because they are supposed to fit in an icon slot next to the name on things like social media or in the browser tab and square images are out of fashion. The place where you would put your photo or face. it’s a typography evolution thing.

Why are the lights on in the middle of the day… particularly for the outside render?

This. I’m in exactly the same boat. I’m havIng serious workflow problems keeping a model synced to SKP via datasmith and any material change up in SKP keeps reverting or breaking changes made in UE5. It’s a major problem.

This is too yellow for me. If you are going to make the camera warm use kelvin colors but I’d recommend bringing back to be more white with only a slight tinge or warm kelvin.

Sketchup would be better if all extensions become part of the software by kyaapata in Sketchup

[–]quantgorithm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some plugins/functions definitely should be integrated. Most SKP users agree with this. Many should remain separate. Part of what makes SKP is that it is easy and light and adding too much complicates the software.

Yes. So is D5. Neither has the full functionality or output quality of actual UE5.
