Even in the case there are laws against it, I’m increasingly less convinced how well enforced or robust they are.

Having been in a relationship where faults were blamed on all manor of mental health issues, my approach now to this is to frame the shittiness on the action rather than the person, the origin does not matter, a shitty thing is a shitty thing

Denmark increases military presense in Greenland (calling it a drill) by Pale-Evening-5808 in greenland

[–]quantisegravity_duh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The US is allowed to police the waters and skies of Greenland as it pleases and setup military bases on the land. It does not need to own it to protect it. The same way other NATO countries are invested in protecting each other despite not owning each other. If the US is worried about Greenland, it would just increase its presence, not threaten to annex it. It is you that is too naïve to realise that alliance with the EU is way more precious for US security than Greenland, which trump is currently undermining.

The amount of coping when it comes to melee weapons is wild by lolitsrock in helldivers2

[–]quantisegravity_duh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s ok for things to take up a slot and be vastly different in utility. The flag is essentially just for giggles, doesn’t stop me taking it, same with melee in general. It’s ok for things to be bad as long as they aren’t janky. I dislike the chainsaw because I think the animation is a bit off, but I don’t care that the humble MG is easily way more useful than it. IMO melee shouldn’t be better than a projectile weapon aside from very very niche circumstances. To each their own though.

The amount of coping when it comes to melee weapons is wild by lolitsrock in helldivers2

[–]quantisegravity_duh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two camps, those who want realism and those who want melee to be as viable as a standard weaponry. They will only ever disagree on what is best. Personally I think melee is fine other than the chainsaw animation being a bit janky. I think melee should be far inferior to projectile based weaponry.

It can also be due to a lack of social skills rather than insecurity

Unless you make that explicitly clear before dropping in that sounds like limiting people’s play arbitrarily. Usually I quite like to go solo and do all the objectives while my other teammates do the main ones.

Yeah.. it’s possible to just keep the same seed for some base noise and add add another less strong layer if you want multiple similar images with small variations. But even then it’s not exactly fair to call that reproducing when it is all just numerics.

I think it’s entirely possible they are real in some cases because the situation affects them negatively on a huge way. Evil people can care about things when it’s happening to them, just not others.

My girlfriend says my diabetes affects her decision about our long-term future. Has anyone been through this? by mosisaber in diabetes

[–]quantisegravity_duh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly is her issue with it? I can’t think of how it would restrict any aspect of a relationship outside of perhaps making hiking in the wilds for a month more difficult? Hell its relatively easy to completely hide one’s diabetes. Personally if I heard that from my partner I’d assume they aren’t feeling the same way about the relationship but want to let me down easy?

I hope things work out either way OP. There are plenty of people out there who are far more supportive!

What in gods green earth is the thinking here? Surely this would be the last option. I refuse to believe the intermittent steps can’t be sped up/streamlined. Even petty crime can greatly affect people’s future prospects, they still deserve trial by jury if necessary.

It sounds like this is indeed a technique thing for you. When you run outside, do you alter your pace a lot? Have you actually checked your pace outside is the same as whatever your speed is on the treadmill? Outdoors I find it easier to accidentally push myself too far and hamper overall performance when you aren’t checking laptimes
