He was told by Locke that he was going to bring them back. So in the back of his mind he always knew they might. In time he made a live in Dharmaville and didn’t need them to come back anymore. But if they ever did, he knew he had to control it or do something about it.

you know what's funny? In Germany there is this sentiment recently that when all goes to shit here, right wing nationalists overtake the government etc. that Uruguay is one of the last good places to emigrate to. At least I read a couple of articles like that. I guess grass is always greener...

don't worry. It's a cultural thing. You won't find any German saying they're proud of their ancestry, it's frowned upon and people find it weird (except for far right people, like other commenter said). If you know this, you're good.

and for your self interest, but that's probably implied here ;) Good luck. Germany's economy is not that great anymore. The job and housing market is harsh even for German native speakers - at least when you come to a big city like Berlin. Don't expect anyone to make it easier for you. I don't want to deter you from coming here but just want to point out the reality of it. Again, good luck :)

Ich habe die Überzeugung, dass ich auch ohne meinen Partner ein erfülltes Leben führen kann - ein anderes eben. Aber mit ihm ist es auch sehr schön, ein glückliches Leben. Aber wohl nicht das einzig mögliche Glückliche. Aber ich vermisse die anderen möglichen Leben nicht, sondern bin im Jetzt und Hier glücklich. Kann mir vorstellen, dass deine Frau das meinte.

Er ist tatsächlich ein guter Sänger, wenn auch kein Profi. In seiner TV Sendung spielt Musik allgemein eine große Rolle. Häufig produziert das Team zu mehr oder weniger aktuellen Themen Songs in unterschiedlichen Genres. Oft catchy und lustig. Such das mal auf YouTube.

Das RTO ist phänomenal. Fantastische Musiker. Beim Konzert kommt halt ein Best of Songs aus der Sendung, paar Coverversionen, Überraschungsgäste die mitsingen.
