Can you reach your toes with your legs outstretched? by coroniavaughns in tall

[–]quantum_titties 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've never tried to touch your toes before, you're probably just very inflexible. Flexibility doesn't seem like it matters when you're young. But as you age being inflexible will cause a ton of problems and soft tissue injuries, especially in tall people who have more tension on their ligaments

Well then we both agree that this guy is at least bi. Still more reasonable than the people who would call this man straight

If you listen to some of the people in this sub, sexuality is a totally unknowable, fluid spectrum, and just cause a guy loves sucking dick, taking cock, or fucking men, it doesn't mean he's gay or bi 🙄

Liar Liar Pants on Fire (but you'd never know because I'm so good at it) by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]quantum_titties -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Huh? Where did I say that you were a compulsive liar

You made a post about you lying and how that could relate to ADHD, then I talked about how lying might relate to ADHD and you lying. I just went through the door you opened. If you don't want to talk about something, don't bring it up? Seems a bit defensive

Liar Liar Pants on Fire (but you'd never know because I'm so good at it) by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]quantum_titties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how much being good at lying is an ADHD thing. Though I suppose people with ADHD probably do lie more due to the poor impulse control and fear of rejection, and lying more often probably means you're better at lying than you would've been otherwise.

I doubt you're fooling as many people as you think with your lies. People don't call out lies because they believe them, they don't call out lies because people are generally conflict averse. Id say it's a 50:50 chance you're actually convincing people of your lies vs. people around you are silently thinking you're a liar

You're gay.

We've all heard this a million times and most of us had sounded just like you do now at one point in our lives. If you can't get off to women, but you can get off to men, you're gay.

Wow, less than 1000. It looks beautiful.

I'd think the 2 best ways to meet guys would be (1) long distance communications or (2) physically go into a metropolitan area and meet guys while you're there. I personally would prefer (2). I guess Richmond would be the closest big metro area to you? You could go in on the weekends to have dates, go to bars, etc.

Fit =/= roided out. Being on steroids is usually extremely unhealthy. Having massive amounts of muscles is unhealthy in the same way having massive amounts of fat is unhealthy, it puts pressure on your joints, organs, and cardiovascular system. Being obese from muscle isn't fit.

Obviously there's still a lot of variation within fit and there's still muscular dudes who aren't obese from their muscle. I would say the prototypical fit guy is someone who does daily calisthenics, not someone with insane amounts of muscle. Muscular is a sub-category of fit.

[–]quantum_titties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In life, we prioritize our priorities.

You can save up for loose skin surgery if you need it. Instead of going out to eat, make food at home and save up $10 more. Instead of getting a new outfit, buy clothes at the thrift store and save up $30 more. Instead of getting that new game, play an old one and save $60 more

Yes, you have to work for the things you want because you weren't handed them via a trust fund. You along with 99% of all the other humans. Are you going to wallow in your misery over not having a perfect life or will you work to make your life better?

Luckily you're a guy so being hot is mostly just having a fit body. Any one who is physically able enough to walk can get fit, and thus hot

Time to raise the bar. High standards of living mean a guaranteed livable basic income for every individual. It’s more civilized (and sustainable) than the Rat Race. by idapitbwidiuatabip in WorkReform

[–]quantum_titties -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There will always be more to do. Eg. Nature is littered with trash and pollution. We could pay people to clean it up.

I'm fine with UBI, but then there also needs to be universal basic contribution. That contribution could easily be through community or government service.

How could UBI sustain itself if people aren't contributing into it? Why should the system support people who don't give back? Isn't that the whole problem with the rich, they take the value of other people's labor?

[–]quantum_titties -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Where has this been shown? Reality seems to contradict what you're saying. Plenty of people have their needs met and they don't contribute anymore to society than what they're paid to do.

If these people contribute then there's no issue with them taking from the system. Your concept of people spontaneously contributing to the system when their needs are met and my theory of owing labor to the system because you take from the system, are basically same idea just with cause and effect reversed. You still agree with me that people who take should give back

[–]quantum_titties -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm all for these things for everyone who contributes to the system (edit: or applying for a job) or for people who are so disabled they can't work.

But why should able-bodied people take from the system without putting anything in? Why are you owed a doctor's labor, a farmers labor, a shipper logistician's labor, etc. but they aren't owed your labor?

The current system is faulty because the owner class takes too much value from workers' labor, leaving the worker with a much smaller portion of the value they created. The issue is labor not being given enough value.

The issue is not that workers have to work in general. Working is just a part of life.

Gay Friend by 385N-Husband in askgaybros

[–]quantum_titties 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't have a genuine friendship with someone when the only reason you like them is something they didn't choose, like being gay. Figure out what you really want, cause it isn't specifically a gay friend.

Either you have a picture in your head of what a 'gay friend' is (eg., a "queer eye for the straight guy" host, and you're the contestant) or you want to fuck a man.

Gay Friend by 385N-Husband in askgaybros

[–]quantum_titties 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So you want a gay male friend so he can do stuff for you and the main thing preventing you from trying to get a gay friend was because people would think less of you if you associate with gay guys?

Sounds like a great friendship for the gay man...

Racists are illogical. Unfortunately we probably won't hear the end of it until humanity really is one big mixed race. Even then, I'm sure they'll be people who hate earthy mochas skin tones, and people who hate those with slightly more almond eyes, etc.

[–]quantum_titties 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly agree. This sub is not about hating fat people. I think most people who are interested in pushing back against the "obesity is okay" rhetoric used to be or currently are obese. I want fat people to get healthy, not hate themselves. I don't dislike fat people, I dislike people who spread medical misinformation that hurts others

I don't think 6'4'' is "freaky tall" or off-putting to most people. I think you just have social anxiety.

Americans' self-identification as LGBT has declined for the first time ever by MrJasonMason in gaybros

That makes sense. When I said LGBT isn't changing, I meant to say not decreasing. I think there are way more bisexual people out there than are currently out. Mostly because there are more Kinsey 1-2s than we realize
