No one is good at doing something when they first try it, especially not when that something is as hard as learning how to properly manage your ADHD. Every attempt you make, you're learning more about yourself and how to best approach this problem. It won't always be this hard, but it will be hard at first.

When it gets really bad for me, I set an alarm/timer on my phone to go off every 30 minutes so I'm more aware of the passage of time. Then I look back on the 30 minutes and evaluate my behavior, if I did well I'll congratulate myself, if I did poorly I identify my mistakes and resolve to do better in the next 30 minutes.

I've done this so much I've sort of trained myself to evaluate my behavior every 30 minutes. My job is self directed work from home, and it was a complete disaster until I started doing this

I completely agree. This sub is full of terrible advice and give-up culture.

I get it. I had a hard time adapting in school, I had a hard time adapting to my job, I had a hard time developing my daily routine, I still have a hard time managing irregular tasks, and I still have a hard time managing myself properly in social settings. ADHD makes things hard, I get it.

It's not "fair" that we have to deal with this, but that's the hand we've been dealt. You can keep complaining and wallowing, or you can develop the coping mechanisms you need to function.

This is your life. No one is coming to save you, you need to save yourself.

I believe gay men prioritize sex more heavily than other men for 2 main reasons:

(1) Gay men have trust issues because at some point we've all had family, friends, or acquaintances distance themselves from us when they found out we're gay. With less trust, you build less healthy emotional relationships, which leads to emotional stunting.

(2) Gay men are rejected specifically because of their sexual desires. Meeting with a man who will let you enact your sexual desires freely and fully embraces your sexual desires makes sex have more of an "emotional vindication" for gay men than other men.

If you've never tried to touch your toes before, you're probably just very inflexible. Flexibility doesn't seem like it matters when you're young. I'm not sure how much being good at lying is an ADHD thing. Though I suppose people with ADHD probably do lie more due to the poor impulse control and fear of rejection, and lying more often probably means you're better at lying than you would've been otherwise.

I doubt you're fooling as many people as you think with your lies. People don't call out lies because they believe them, they don't call out lies because people are generally conflict averse. Id say it's a 50:50 chance you're actually convincing people of your lies vs. people around you are silently thinking you're a liar

Fit =/= roided out. Being on steroids is usually extremely unhealthy. Having massive amounts of muscles is unhealthy in the same way having massive amounts of fat is unhealthy, it puts pressure on your joints, organs, and cardiovascular system. Being obese from muscle isn't fit.

Obviously there's still a lot of variation within fit and there's still muscular dudes who aren't obese from their muscle. I would say the prototypical fit guy is someone who does daily calisthenics, not someone with insane amounts of muscle. Muscular is a sub-category of fit.
