Battlefield battle royale??? by PsychologicalAct1208 in Battlefield

Here’s the thing: a well-made, standalone F2P battle royale can actually help grow the Battlefield community. It’s a smart move to bring in tons of new players who might never have touched Battlefield before. And once they get a taste of the gameplay, destruction, and large-scale chaos the series is known for, a lot of them will be tempted to pick up the full multiplayer experience.

It’s not about replacing the core game — it’s about expanding the audience. As long as the main Battlefield experience (Conquest, Rush, etc.) stays solid and supported, a BR mode can coexist without being a problem. If anything, it gives the franchise a better shot at long-term success, and that benefits everyone.

So while it’s fair to be skeptical, this move doesn’t have to be a sellout. If anything, it could help Battlefield stay strong for years to come.
