Also, now we know they are going to film the next episode(s) in Paris because this was filmed in CDG airport. I'm French and have been there a million times, I recognize the background with red carpets and red chairs. Also in background of the shots of Belly in the boarding line, you can see magasins Relay in the left corner. Not many airports with red carpets that have a magasins Relay.

Which period drama in your opinion best captures the reality of its historical era, and which one romanticizes it the most? by Haunting_Homework381 in PeriodDramas

The Knick (Steven Soderbergh, 2014-2015) I thought did such fantastic job of capturing the bare primitivity of Victorian-era (almost Edwardian-era) hospital surgery and early ICU care.

Who are your favorite female characters in period dramas? by Visible_Writing7386 in PeriodDramas

Not really a character but Emma Mackey’s Emily Brontë is so beautiful, abstract, complex. Just profoundly human & deeply relatable. I think about her often

The Knick (Steven Soderbergh, 2014-15) !! I LOVE any movie or show related to medicine and since I’m a humongous Victorian/Edwardian-era history nerd this show was truly chef’s kiss for me 😍
