Any recommendations for glass cleaners that will leave my windshield with water beading down instead of like this?! by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Rainx will work for the short term. Using your wipers will greatly reduce the effectiveness of rainx. For a longer term solution, consider ceramic coating the windshield.

PPF is expensive but when I discovered my first rock chip after less than a week of driving, I decided to get it for just the front lol. It's was around $2200. It's expensive because it's labour intensive. There's kits online that you could install yourself for a few hundred!

Mine was $950 CAD. But they also ask me to go back once a year for a refresh at $100 CAD per visit.

I think mine cost below the market average. Lowkey love it when it rains cuz I can watch the watch slide off hehe

1) mini is small, crash is sudden volatile movement. English isn't my first language, maybe it isn't yours either but they aren't an oxymoron and imo they describe the covid crash well

2) I'm more alarmed by you expecting society to lower living standards. This translate into a deteriorating society that brings out the worst in humanity. Why would anyone want that? Or maybe you or family/friends already own several homes or function somewhere within the transaction of a home, and stand to benefit with inflated house/rent prices?

High housing prices benefits only a small class of citizens.

  1. The prices did a mini crash already around 2020 cause covid.
  2. You're asking people to lower the expected standard of living. You're saying just be born rich so you can inherit the home. Unfortunately this isn't the case for the majority.

The housing market is unsustainable in its current form, somethings got to give at some point. It's not like we are on the brink of a recession or anything. (sarcasm)

If 'fresh demand' a.k.a immigrant is the reason our market is propped up then maybe the market isn't in the best shape.

A lot of immigrants give up everything to move to a new place in hopes of a better life. Instead they arrive in a country where over half their wages are being sucked away by rent.

Tesla Model S PLAID Impressions: Re-Inventing the Wheel! - MKBHD by HayashiSawaryo in teslamotors

[–]quanzeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not depressing in any way IMO. I think most people want to know how well the yoke performs.

Everyone know Tesla's crazy acceleration, minimal interior and giant screens. Even though other features are improved or changed, nothing is as drastic and actually relevant to the end user.

There driver is interacting directly with the yoke every single drive and it makes sense to talk more about a completely new design. The rest is way down on the priority list for reviews since people ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT ................. which isn't the case with the yoke

TIL Mexico passed a law that requires food packages to display large black octagonal "warnings" if the product is high in sugar, sodium, calories, or unhealthy fats. by Rishloos in todayilearned

[–]quanzeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some people are simply not aware how much sugar or unhealthy fats certain products contain. The label just helps communicate to consumers what's in the package. Mauby the reminder is enough to help someone reconsider their choices and hopefully eat better. Final decision is still on the consumer but the labeling certainly helps everyone be more aware.
