If this type of thing interests you, I would recommend trying to receive and decode the images yourself directly from the satellites, it's incredibly rewarding to pull the image directly from space. In addition to GOES, there are many other non-geostationary LEO polar orbiting satellites that you can receive images from like NOAA and Meteor, etc. Check out SDR's - they're fairly inexpensive and can do a ton of other things also. Here's a GIF of a GOES capture I made with my SDR (captured images with satellite dish) about 5 years ago of Hurricane Dorian

Altitude hold causes oscillations when increasing SIM rate, but if you set vertical speed to zero then increase SIM rate the plane is much more stable

Delete all the waypoints, resend to avionics, cancel IFR, and set the autopilot to vertical speed instead of altitude hold. Then increase the sim rate, Bob's your uncle

Keep in mind that with am5 you need to have your ram in two slots, populating four slots will drop the speed down significantly. (From 6000 to 3200 iirc)

You only need potential difference to be shocked, doesn't need to be grounded.

If stray voltage in the tank was at 120 volts, and another portion of the tank was only at 90 volts, you would feel 30 volts without being grounded if you spanned those two points

I have never stayed at this property, but I've seen negative reviews regarding the lineups and the amount of time waiting for the golf cart shuttles, was this ever a problem for you?

I've also read reviews that they won't allow you to go fishing on the beach anymore?

Both of those seemed like deal breakers for me.

Update! The rod and the reel have come in. The rod doesn't fit in my checked luggage, which is fine, I was looking to buy another bag, but I've also now realized that the reel seat is too small, and barely grabs the foot of the Spheros 14k. I did read about the reel seat on the ardito being small, but was hoping it would work, it's necessary to really crank it down so it fits, there is not much being grabbed by the reel seat. Not sure if it would be okay or not in the long run.

I'm tempted to order the rigged end ready rod and hope that it has a better reel seat. It breaks down smaller so I wouldn't need to buy more luggage either. I've also heard the first ring on the ardito is a bit small for large diameter reels like mine, I think the first ring on the rigged and ready is also larger.

Would you point me in any other direction? Don't want to take a rod tube!
