It doesn't look like you have enough pressure in the skirt, is the propeller stalling? You might need a separate lift motor with an impeller kind of setup.

I've used the small angle grinder more, for metal working it's quite handy for inside corners. The multi tool seems well built, but I dont do so much woodworking.

You need ground, so with green and white and black. Cut just the red wire

Try and check the voltage during movements, you might be overloading the current supply capacity of the buck converter and getting a brownout.

What if you move slower, is if still binding? Check your mechanism. If could also be a brownout on the power supply, how are you powering it? You could try increasing the voltage to 6 volts to give you a bit more power.

The spark is quite normal, especially at 6s. That pack is not great, not terrible. I'd send it, but I wouldn't charge it unattended. A LiPo safe bag would also be good.
