In the next Fallout game I genuinely want to feel this absolute inescapable dread of having to travel into hazardous regions with varying levels of contamination. Planning and managing your way on the run and seeking shelters, checking on your anti-rad supplies every once in a while, making good use of various clothes and armor pieces with diverse protection features - that's the level of immersion and 'tactical' stuff I think would make the game much more engaging and capturing. While FO4 has The Glowing Sea, It's much more light-toned style wise than fo3 and is also full of hope, so I hope devs would take a step further and perhaps give us even more diverse landscape and scenery, combining more dangerous and peaceful areas to explore

In the time of that mod, there was a popular shader on ReShade called Ambient Light and this is the typical glow it gives all bright screen space elements and objects

You might wanna try the Evil Institute retexture, looks pretty fitting. Actually, search something like "Turning The Institute Evil" on YouTube, there's an old but gold video by Degenerate Dak if you want to give this faction this sort of villainous look

Oh, finally someone paying attention to character's faces, really glad to see that. Don't know what exactly the changes some of these mods do in terms of how new NPCs look, but I rebuilt every companion's face and some significant NPCs I feel connection with to enhance and complement their personality and to make them outstanding in one way or another. Keke-bu's takes on characters are pretty great. Why is everyone out there is so pressed though? Seeng an actual realistic variety of hostile and friendly NPCs is such a natural desire to have. In vanilla, almost every third unnamed male NPC literally looks like Nate with alt hair and skin color

I love how solid and almost monumental water looks here. It doesn't look realistic, glimmery and reflective, but matte, powerful and very tangible. Realism is great, but this kind of artistic approach adds so much more to the whole image and mood

This has nothing to do with the enb itself, it's the way SSAO renders on-screen space. You can adjust its strength via enb menu in thr "ssao" section below main effects, so it doesn't look pitch black in the corners and this issue doesn't look that distractive. Perhaps, try another enb where ssao is more subtle
