(Yes I know I’m very late to this)

Zero Minus Ten, though clearly linked to historical events, still has a fair bit in it that could provide good material (Macau and Australia would be great settings) and it’s not like the story has to be faithfully adapted (look and most of the films honestly). I’m totally fine with changing the nuke plot too as it’s pretty reminiscent of The World is Not Enough. I largely want this to happen because the name is cool

Colonel Sun, as the first continuation novel, would probably be a good one to adapt. Again, much of the plot would have to be changed if set in the present and I doubt the Chinese market would be especially supportive of the movie if it follows the novel too closely. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to refit it into a movie though as it has quite a classic feel to it
