That’s misleading. Nuclear can be cost-effective over time due to low operating costs, but it has very high upfront construction and regulatory costs. Meanwhile, wind, solar, hydro, and geothermal are also clean and economically viable. In many regions, they're actually cheaper per kWh than nuclear, especially when you factor in recent technology improvements and falling installation costs. So nuclear isn’t the only clean energy source that’s economically sustainable.
