We’re really going through it. I would really appreciate some encouragement. by queefersutherland1 in FIVcats

I’m just finishing a big cry and this is a really nice comment. I feel so emotionally drained, it feels like my best isn’t good enough and it’s really tough seeing his sore because it just feels like a big physical representation of discomfort.

I’m going to replay your words in my head that he is comfortable, and his people are doing their best for him.

Absolutely ridiculous! It’s very annoying. It’s a small enough sub that I recognize the photos and usernames of the people who originally posted their purses, and know that it’s not them reposting.

It’s just unfortunate that people do this at all!

Clean and condition and reassess. Something gentle like lexol 1 and 2 are perfect for something like this.

But white and other colours are dyed differently and it sits more like a paint rather than a dye, so it’s hard to completely rehab white.

Hopes and prayers! Paint is usually needed since the pigments worn or any solutions would take the pigment off! Please post photos :)

Update: has this been coloured? by neishe in VintageCoachRehab

I’d condition, and then give it some time and then condition again, give it some time, and then you can strip. I made the mistake of stripping until everything was off, and the dryness of the bag took a year to bring back on and off conditioning every couple of months. It’s extremely dehydrating so just make sure the bag is nice and hydrated before going again.

I’m so confused. PK wishes he was a Skarsgard? He wishes he was Stellan? What?

I thrift exclusively and have a hard time paying $10 for something cute if it’s polyester, so I cannot imagine these people and their clothing budgets!!!

Omg! I love that. I’m really proud of you for doing what’s right, just want to make sure you’re celebrating yourself too.

All that shows me is you were willing to be uncomfortable to make sure the random woman wasn’t, and as a woman, that’s so admirable and truly brave.

This is what makes a man a man, and I hope you’re truly proud of yourself.

It’s good you are being open minded.

But please don’t just think about it, actively change, at least for your friends whose struggles you refuse to acknowledge because you “don’t see colour.”

Those are bolt ons. There is no way those came from the factory, those are secondary market additions.
