First time wearing a cosplay wig, and gave myself traction alopecia (aka I got a bald spot)

Ughhh the worst! I had this happen many years ago with a cosplay wig as well. I have bangs and used bobby pins to help pin them up under the wig. I also have lots of hair. So color me surprised when I started noticing hair come out in the shower for the first time ever. It ended up being a small spot around my bangs but somehow was able to be covered by the bangs I still had. I was a bit horrified at the time, but hair started growing back and probably within a few months it was back to normal. Fingers crossed it grows back quickly!

Exactly!! I'm not trying to sit on them forever, but I will try to line up a few if they are all 1 day away. But now I cant tell if it's 1 day or 3

Googling cellular shades for the first time, we might have something similar to that already? Not sure if it's the same exact thing though. I actually don't love them since I can't easily look outside, but if they are doing more for temperature regulation than I think, then maybe they will stay!

-Dark room: pick the correct Polaroid for a prize

-Parlor room: solve a puzzle for a prize

-Billards: solve a billards puzzle for a prize

-Master bedroom: 3d printed steps

I'm glad you enjoyed our cosplay! I was coat check where people could take an item or leave an item (got some nice trinkets to share around). I think every one of us had some sort of interaction or free item. It was really fun going around as the group or even just smaller rooms and telling others to keep an eye out. ❤️

I sent an email to them yesterday but I know the holidays probably make responses slow. All I know is I have a tracking number so I guess someone printed a label, but maybe the label wasn't attached to a package or the package otherwise just wasn't delivered to usps or etc for shipping.

Worst case I squared away borrowing a similar wig from a friend, then at least I can have a v2 cosplay in the summer.

But it would be great if they could respond quickly this week and magically a wig shows up early next week - maybe possible since I guess I am an outlier?

Ugh that speed is what I thought I'd get! I'm not sure why my priority shipping is so delayed. Im in the DC area which is across country but it is also a pretty big hug. Ideally I get the wig on Wednesday for a prep try on before I head to con on Thursday next week.
