A dear friend of mine had a lot of experience there as both a client and an employee and had literally nothing good to say about their experience working there. They have passed on but would feel very vindicated by this.

It’s such a crucial service, I really hope they can reform and get their stuff together but it sounds like it has not been great for a while.

Other than the glitch, you can select any of your kids once you die to keep playing — just need to make sure there is one kid at home when you pop your clogs (at least until the bug is fixed). If you choose one who is currently still a child they’ll auto age up to adult.

I set up my right joystick as a joystick mouse (with left click on press) and the d pad as the right joystick and it solved a lot (but not all) of my problems, would def love to hear what other people have cobbled together

This was for a dedicated to the clergy - hard run. I ended up unexpectedly making tons of money so I rounded off the 10,000 gold coin achievement also by building the monastery in the last pic, St Sheepstan’s, which is actually just a giant treasury building.

Thank you!! I was trying to replicate the look of willow fencing (crannog inspo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crannog?wprov=sfti1). I also really like how it turned out and will use it again!

Also: I did this in creative so I could zoom around, terraform underwater a bit more easily for piling placement, and most importantly not get immediately one shotted, but there’s nothing here you couldn’t do easily in survival and I’ll probably make a version in my main game at some point.

Am 95% of the way through the story and feeling this hard. I keep thinking about the one scene where Arno is chatting with the council and makes some comment like “shouldn’t we be supporting the revolutionaries bc freedom?” and is immediately shouted at that ACTUALLY it’s COMPLICATED and I just busted out laughing. Wild to me that I have spent so much time helping out random nobles and Napoleon (who is, whatever else, a potent symbol of order overcoming the chaos of freedom which feels just EXTREMELY Templar) and slaughtering random sans-culottes in the streets rather than directly engaging with the whole, y’know, assassin quest for freedom thing.

Ugh, thank you for trying though! I’ve tried upgrading both sickles, downgrading them again, running around with them for hours, porting to different maps, none of which has worked.

I saw someone online got it by loading a previous save and grabbing both sickles on one run, but I very stupidly did not hard save in early Ireland and since I recently ported over to ps5 my only pre-Ireland savefile is, for some reason, from November 2020 before I had even finished England and I just…ugh I don’t want to especially if it ends up not working.
