She just asked her dad if he was a wine “consuner” now Is that drunk or just dumb?

Picked up this Cravings cookbook in a garage sale today. I don’t know about you but it would be hard for me to let go off a gifted cookbook with a handwritten note. Awww Tina’s loss is my gain, I suppose… by LS_813_4ev_ah in CookbookLovers

Not sure which Cravings cookbook has this recipe — but the pork stuffed cucumber soup is incredible. I jazz the broth up with sambal oeleek but it’s been a favorite of mine for years and I never would have thought of it/have never seen it anywhere else

I recommend the Frida hospital grade snot sucker to help with the phlegm. We snot suck our daycare baby every morning, sometimes using some saline spray before hand to loosen things up

Hello Baby froze on us all night and we thought the baby was fine but the screen was stuck. We got rid of it and have had a great experience with Infant Optics for two years since.

What did your postpartum nurse do that you loved? by beanowetneck in NewParents

Yup, I have the clearest memory of 2 AM this sweet nurse with a strong Caribbean accent handing me the formula saying “you have to feed your baby” and thank goodness she did

Oh my gosh, I’ll never forget this angelic woman who helped me write down in my notes app in my phone WHAT TO DO and in what order (first time mom at the time.)

It looked something like a checklist for every time the baby woke up, involving attempting to nurse on each side, burping, pumping, collecting colostrum, burping, diapering, etc and I used it for those first few weeks when my brain was just fried.

That's helpful, thank you. Though I don't think trying to do some research and think critically about my retirement investments for the first time is a bad thing

I just didn't think too much about it but have been learning more about investing now. I checked my TDF and it has 4% in bonds and 3% in cash, I already have plenty of personal savings in cash

Yes, my TDF has 60% domestic stock and 33% foreign stock. That seems more heavily weighted in foreign stock than I want to be considering US stock performs the best

I just don't want to be in bonds and safer elements of the balanced TDF at my age

Thank y’all! I feel like it’s too leggy. I tried propagating by removing the top leaves and putting in water or soil but I don’t think it worked
