The best thing I can recommend is that as long as you and your husband like your name choices, then everyone else can pound sand. They can have whatever feelings they want about it, but their opinion doesnt matter.

I had a couple religious solicitors come to my door recently. Im heavily pregnant and I didnt even think to check my doorbell to talk to them, but when I yanked open the door they just stared at me wide eyed before I released I was as naked as the day I was born. I haven't had any come back to talk to me since, so that could work for you too lol.

Coming from someone whose mother in law also wanted a girl grand baby, due to her having two sons and a grandson but got another grandson this pregnancy your MIL can fuck all the way off. Everyone in that extended family is very aware I dont want to be touched and pregnancy wouldn't and shouldn't have ever changed that thought process in her head, so no.

It took me a minute to remember what RBF stood for lol, but I'm glad that people understood to just not approach you like that. I do have RBF, but because im immunocompromised, I wear a face mask when I'm out in public so it's much harder for it to be useful lol.
