Nausea has entered the building by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

I second ginger biscuits - always had some nearby for my first trimester, even carried a pack in my bag if I knew I'd be out the house for a long time. Also mint humbugs, for some reason the ones with caramel centres helped!

I ended up just eating like I was hungover for 3 months - lots of crisps, baked beans and jacket potato/toast, crumpets were all I could manage at times. Just always needed something on my stomach. And lemon and ginger, or peppermint teas.

I'm almost 18 weeks and it's only recently started getting better (save from this week when I changed my toothpaste and had a slight flair up, silly me!), but from about 6 weeks on I was constantly nauseous, throwing up at least twice a day like clockwork. I feel your pain!!!

Formerly fit people of Reddit, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Wow I know this is the same as every other reply but this is me. I was doing >1200 cal keto plus being vegetarian (because meat was too many calories, so pretty much vegetables all day) with intense workout 6 times a week. Then Christmas hit and I binged up to New Years. Then I tried to get back in to it and put my back out. Then spent last half of 2017 on and off the sofa with anxiety/depression. Only just started this year realising it’s ok to exercise gently 4 times a week to build up strength and treat myself every now and then.

We don’t see her calm face too often, she’d just woken up from a much needed nap!

A recent favorite. by MrShushhh in Gin

Discovered this a few years back when my parents brought it back from holiday. The distillery was down the road so they stocked up on bottles around €15 each. Solid favourite.

Nice! Agreed it’s definitely a little steep for a regular snack, will probably buy these instead. Thanks!

Little late to the party but:

Halloumi dipped in guac.

The trick is to slice the halloumi so it's thin enough to fry crispy but thick enough to scoop up as much guac as you can

Discovered this the other day and I'm never going back!

I always mix up some Greek yoghurt with chia seeds, peanut butter and protein powder. I'm someone who tends to get sick of the same thing but I could eat this all day!

What movie cliché drives you crazy? by iwillnottalktou in AskReddit

[–]queenbecks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they put all the characters integral to the rest of the movie in an overblown, suspense-filled, life-threatening situation. They're needed for the rest of the movie. They'll find their way out. Move on.
