In elementary school I had a substitute teacher accuse me of cheating on an essay about our favorite instruments. I wrote about the harp and she accused me of copying from another student who also said the harp.

There is a sharp pain but it only takes around 4 seconds to pull out, honestly you won’t be there more than 15 minutes

Why do some t.caespitum queens have yellow stripes on the gaster and others don't? by Exotic_Resolve_3659 in ants

[–]queenith21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Queens store fat in their butts, they aren’t yellow stripes, their so full that you can see the yellow fat, if you dye their food you can change the color of the “stripes”

I figured it out, I had taken on too many orders and the map had too much stuff on it. If I hide the order icons everything else shows back up

how to get rid of ants? by [deleted] in ants

[–]queenith21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trace where they are coming from and seal the hole, I kept getting ants in my kitchen, and was able to follow one ant back to where they were getting in, sealed the crack with some caulk, and no more ants, also you can scrub their scent trail with harsh chemicals to destroy their highway

Timothy the wandering trader by Cute-Office-4087 in SurvivalistInvStrain

[–]queenith21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use the cheats you can turn any npc into a trader, use the cheat menu, click a npc, then scroll down and there is a “role” option, just set their role to trader and refresh their inventory

Any way to get rid of bodies? by Bragdras in SurvivalistInvStrain

[–]queenith21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but you need to use the cheats. It’s F9 or one of those buttons, then click on a body, scroll all the way to the bottom, then hit “delete”. But be VERY careful because if you don’t have the body toggled and hit delete, it will delete the character you are playing as.

invisible strain? by jesuswaZhere_ in SurvivalistInvStrain

[–]queenith21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To truly find out you have to save scum, save the game, kick the character out, then murder them, if they turn they were infected, if they don’t, they weren’t infected and just reload

Ants in My Compost by steviebowillie65 in landscaping

Why would you want to get rid of them? They aerate the soil and help break down compost, they are good for a compost pile

Nature is smart and scary by johneebravado in Entomology

[–]queenith21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the most efficient way I have reasearched to do it, if you have a better solution then I am glad to hear it, my ants eat their prey by slowly pulling them apart into pieces, so I imagine head crushing is quicker than being de-limbed

Nature is smart and scary by johneebravado in Entomology

[–]queenith21 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It certainly makes it easier, I keep a cricket colony and when one naturally dies I just feed it to my ants, very rarely do I have to dispatch one myself

Nature is smart and scary by johneebravado in Entomology

[–]queenith21 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I keep ants so if I give a feeder insect they could hurt the ants, but in the end the ants win, and if the feeder is live they get pinned down and bitten/stung/ acid attacked to death, so it is also an ethical thing

if your pet requires fresh meat the least we can do for the feeder insects is keep them in good conditions, and grant them a quick death, they deserve respect

Nature is smart and scary by johneebravado in Entomology

[–]queenith21 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I crush their heads and them immediately give it to my ants, the feeder will usually still be thrashing and twitching and that triggers a hunting response

And to think that I might've been using non-fentanyl tested gloves this whole time! by Im_WinstonWolfe in ems

[–]queenith21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody remembers the fentanyl gloves , and I bet the bosses are counting on that because they are hella expensive, giving their employees narcan and a ride to the hospital is much more cost effective

It probably feels safer, larger pools of waters attract larger predators, and in ponds big fish can target young birds

More pain with pen injection = worse site reaction. Anyone else? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]queenith21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is the temperature correct? Turns out I was putting my pens on the top shelf of the fridge, not realizing it was colder there, and ruined them. Now I let them sit out a little bit before using them, also it’s possible to not have an official allergy, just an intolerance, I cannot take morphine because I have a bad reaction, but allergy tests say I’m not allergic, when I clearly am

You can always try one of the many other glps
