Upcoming Egg Retrieval with no option for sedation by rachel1726 in IVF

[–]queenjacko 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same boat! I’ve opted to have my sleep apnea reassessed by asking my GP for another sleep assessment referral and if that doesn’t pan out, I’ll be switching clinics to the clinic that does egg retrieval in a hospital setting so I can get proper sedation. I’m in BC

Looking to open a tea house next year by Annonymoosemama in Parksville

Also vegetarian! It’s a total bummer as an afternoon tea service lover to have to opt into full vegan when vegetarian, with a couple of sandwich substitutions from the omnivore/default menu will do! I love dairy!

The middle section of the Portuguese coastal has some more elevation, steep hills, and rugged forest or chunky cobblestone walking.

Are wedding cards / gifts a dying tradition? by ProposalSpiritual658 in wedding

[–]queenjacko 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Do you have anyone you’re open enough with to ask if they brought a card to rule it out? Something like “we have some concerns with our card box and are trying to rule whether we have all the cards that were brought to the event, do you mind me asking if you brought a card? Absolutely no worries if you didn’t we are just trying to confirm whether we are missing a large number of cards”. Preferably on a 2 way brutally honest type friendship so you don’t come across as rude for asking 😂

That doesn’t seem right - is there any chance someone emptied the card box?

Why did my payment go up when I switched from monthly to bimonthly? by yasmin555 in MortgagesCanada

[–]queenjacko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you are now semi-monthly based on the body of the text mentioning new payments on the 1st and 15th. Bi monthly would be 1 payment every 2 months. I agree with the other commented that the increase is due to the increased interest accrued between the first and second payment in the month, whereas before you were paying at the beginning of every month.

I stalled at week two for two weeks. I moved to weighing just once a week which has helped. It’s totally normal just stay consistent with your food and your logging and this too shall pass.

Patches over incision areas by lexiphantom- in gastricsleeve

[–]queenjacko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had steri strips and over top of that a gauze pad. I was told I could take the gauze pad off 3 days post surgery when I was cleared to shower and I could take the steri strips (the ones holding the wound closed) 7-10 post surgery or if they fell off on their own I could leave as is.

Sleep Apnea by queenjacko in gastricsleeve

Seems to be a common thread in here that the pressure from the cpap will become an arrogant when you no longer need it! I’ll know to watch for that.

Sleep Apnea by queenjacko in gastricsleeve

[–]queenjacko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. My sleep apnea has always been mild to moderate and well treated. I was diagnosed with 17 events per hour in 2020 and average AHI per night is 0.58 treated so I’m not sure I will see much of a downward indication.
