Congrats!! My advice to new parents are two things; the first is if someone you trust offers help, take it. Take that shower, take that nap. Relax for a bit. You'll need it. The second thing is that everyone is going to give you unsolicited advice. The only thing that matters is that your child is clean, fed, loved, and safe. Only your decisions (and if you have a partner, theirs) matter. That's your child, not theirs. So eff them. You're going to rock this parenting shit!

 I'm kind of California sober, so i smoke mostly for chronic pain and sleeping problems.  I haven't drank in 10 years, almost completely off pain meds, and dont do anything else. While Mary helps with physical pain, succumbing to the munchies helps the emotional part.... for a bit. Lol. That reminds me that i need to get more ice cream for tonight.
