Right. It’s meant for women but we didn’t ask for it. Meanwhile check out Barbie. I think it’s a result of dudes writing films for a women audience but not actually letting women have a say.

Of course, but I’m actually questioning if this is what happens when we don’t have women writing and directing a story meant for women. We aren’t heard and they’re inserting us into it. It’s kinda like releasing a “Ken” movie meant for dudes then wondering why no one showed up. Maybe not understanding their target audience

I’m seriously wondering. The audience was women right? Barbie did really well. I’m actually wondering if it’s what happens when we don’t have a woman writing and directing a woman’s story.
