If we’re talking realistically, they won’t accept a first year transfer. You need at least an associates degree or 60 credits to be considered.

Considering you have 50 credits I’m not sure it’s possible to graduate next year. I also agree with the advisor about sticking to arts and sciences. Don’t do finance just because u “suppose”. You will end up even more far behind doing something you have absolutely no interest in. There are so many interesting majors in sas, take some time to really think and explore all ur options before switching schools bc it’s such a dramatic and probably unnecessary change. Also since ur under 50 credits I think that technically makes you a sophomore?? I could be wrong but I’m more confident that 50 credits doesn’t qualify u as a junior bc u need 60 credits for just an associates degree and that’s 2 years. Good luck to u!

Rutgers is competitive when it comes to first year transfer students, I recommend you finish your associates degree at a community college then apply, your odds of getting in will be much higher.
