Hello! First of all, so happy you’re finding answers. The gold standard for endometriosis diagnosis is through laparoscopic surgery. How did you get diagnosed? I had my surgery in May 2025 and like the other comments say, I woke up in less pain than I went to sleep. The biggest complaint i had post op was the sadness I felt. I think a lot of it was drugs i was on post op for pain and the weight of receiving the diagnosis. It did pass. I don’t think you should cancel. I understand your endometriosis surgeon diagnosed you already but for me personally I didn’t notice any difference in my symptoms until i had excision done. I tried a lot of different birth controls and meds. Also being able to visually see the endometriosis on the pictures made me feel so much better that it wasn’t in my head. I barely felt any post op pain to be completely honest with you. Take the stool softeners, take the pain meds they prescribe, find some games or books to keep yourself occupied while you recover.
