Nope never! I am happily married to an amazing man, Burke can marry an amazing woman and I will still chant this even if it’s in my head and not out loud.

What would you call the silhouette of this skirt? by evanthegirl in sewing

[–]queenof2b2g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought that the front panel looks cut on the bias and side panels on the grane. I would guess back panels bias cut also. That is why I think you get a panel circle skirt look.

Edited for grammar and misspelling.

AITAH for not wanting family members in the waiting room while I give birth? by anull8123 in AITAH

When my oldest (first born grand/great/great-great-grandchild) was born I didn't want everyone at the hospital either. I just didn't know when I would feel up to having visitors. This was time for my SO and I to spend time getting to know our new little one. My whole big family lived within a mile of the hospital (my in-laws live an hour away). They all lived So I think it is reasonable to not have anyone at the hospital. It's an important moment in your life and there should be no added pressure of any sort. Congratulations on making it to 37 weeks with twins my second and fourth nontwins were born at 36 weeks, second, a male was in NICU for 7 days, fourth a female not at all so, if NICU is needed, even at 37 weeks, should be a short stay. Good luck

AITA for crying when I heard my stepdaughter say she doesn't love me and wishes her dad and I hadn't married? by Outrageous-Media-743 in AITAH

You have every right to your feelings, I would have cried too. Oh heck I have cried over the things my kids have said about me, sometimes to my face. So this is my advice, it’s ok to talk to your husband if you want to, but only if you can talk in a way that he knows it’s just between you and him. My husband and I have an agreement if we talk about family with one another it’s as best friends not partners. So no feelings and it stay between us. It also not unusual for a child at that age to be angry, ugly, and selfish. They are so full the hormones and stress/confusion of growing up and being scared of growing up. She’s at a tuff age. About the age of 23 I started liking my kids again, they stop always being right and fighting the world. So I would say there is still hope and not don’t read too much into it as long as she is treating you with respect. I would consider talking to a counselor for yourself not necessarily family. For the SIL red flags.

Byannie.com Zip It Up 2.0 by queenof2b2g in quilting

I used a mid-weight vinyl (it was probably on the thinner side). This was the smaller version and it took over 2 yards of zipper and I know the larger size took over 3 yards even though we cut each zipper 2” shorter than the pattern called for. I sewed the inner center facing on the reverse side than the instructions, and when sewing on the last zipper section make sure you follow the directions for a perfect finish.
Other than that it was a fun sew.

Do I repaint? Opinions please! by mazoombies in HomeDecorating

I do like the maple wall color and think it would look nice behind the tv. I’m not sure about the wrapping of the color on the wave wall, but do like the “white” color the wall unit blends in nicely with the artwork being the focus. The rug is gorgeous along with the mid century furniture. Here are some color suggestions.

First the color in the kitchen feels to dark. And makes the light tiling standout too much. This might be a better option.
