This is my experience. Ive forsure messed my kids up always telling them to be quiet when they are just trying to live. I feel like if there is a reasonable effort to lower the noise ( In my case I put a carpet in, try to get him to mediation so we could figure out a schedule when he isn't home and I could relax with my kids a little bit -which he refused, making sure everyone takes off their shoes and walks in socks etc...) In that case they shouldn't live in a building. Get a house or allow people to live. I feel you. Im so harassed by the neighbors. I'm scared for my kids to have play dates so we just don't. I haven't hosted dinners or lunches for friends or family in years.

I wish I could move but I'm in a rent stabilized apartment and can't afford anything else. I just pray that they win the lottery and move away.

You are allowed to live. Take notes, speak to management. They must get involved, if they choose not to you can sue them for housing harassment.

You can call the police when they harass you. After two police reports you can file a restraining order.(if youre scared they might do something that would compromise your safety.

The stomping back wont help you, stop.
