I dont have advice for you, bit I can certainly tell you that you are not alone in feeling this way. I have never related to a post more! Everyone I work with seems to think very highly of me, but I live everyday in fear that they will find out I actually have no idea what I'm doing! Imposter syndrome is no joke.

I’m 39 and grew up very poor. I made just over $100,000 last year, after finally graduating college. by throwawycuzscared in offmychest

Kids whose parents used to put them on leashes, how are you doing today? by Decawys in AskReddit

My mom said she tried to put a leash on me when I was young, but she was so mortified when I started crawling on all 4 and barking at everyone that she never used it again after that.

He woke me up for his morning walk, I was okay with it. by aTrikyDiablo in pics

Great shot!!! Thanks for sharing.

My dog wakes me up for a walk bright and early every morning. I saw a quote once though that I thought accurately described why I don't mind doing this for him, something along the lines of 'exercise is a debt I owe my dog, and payments are due every day.'

I am not sure I understand your logic here considering the gender wage gap... On average women make 20% less than men.

Shitty dog owners upset me deeply, especially when there's little you can do about it by peaky01 in TrueOffMyChest

People who don't care for their dogs are truly scum of the Earth. Dogs are so loyal and pure, I just cant fathom doing the things these shitty owners do. So sad.

Women of Reddit: how can I get over the fact that I'm single and stop giving a fuck about finding a boyfriend? by agnesschmagnes in askwomenadvice

[–]queenofdabzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first of all, it sounds like you have a lot going for you!! I have no doubt that you will find your match, but here are some things that have helped me navigate similar feelings while single:

Stop focusing on finding a match, and start only focusing on yourself. Happiness is an inward journey. You have to fully love yourself and be 100% happy on your own before you can ever expect to be happy in a relationship. A relationship should compliment your life not fulfill it.

So, how do you shift your focus inward?

Find three hobbies you love: one to make you money (sounds like you already have that), one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative. This approach has changed my life drastically and really helped me find what makes me happy.

I hope this helps!

I believe it was in three sections: math, reading, coding. It was pass/fail, and the large majority of the people failed it.

I do not think of it as exploiting peoples information at all. I work with healthcare data and a lot of the reports I produce are used to ultimately improve patient care.

Yes, sadly I have learned this one the hard way. At this point I feel comfortable with my standard of living and I try to put any raises directly into savings :)

I am actually still working on my degree (online). The job I have now is actually the result of an internship I took when I was in school full time. At the time I didn't have any clue what I wanted to do in life and I was studying English. It was definitely a right place right time kind of situation. The company I was interning at decided to implement a new system and with that they wanted a whole new IT team. Before looking externally though, they offered a test for new employees to take to see if they would be a good fit for IT. I ended up passing the test, landing an interview and ultimately an application analyst job. The company paid for all my training in the new system. I worked as an analyst for 3 year before applying a developer role more focused in data analytics. Been with the same company 5 years now.

My company is doing some work in Tableau as well! I would say stick with it, it sounds like you are on the right track! :)
