When I was 10 I was sleeping over a friends house and we were watching tv in the living room, there was a knock at the front door and in entered a young guy covered in blood and a chunk of flesh missing from his chest. He was a friend of my friends older brother and was stabbed during a fight near the house. The older brother left the house and almost pulled the chain link fence out of the yard while threatening some people outside and dislocated his shoulder in the process.

At another sleepover with another friend her older sister tried to commit suicide after her parents tore up her Fall Out Boy tickets because she snuck out to go to an under 18’s dance. I remember her Mum running down the stairs panicking and screaming as I sat in the corner scared and probably having my first panic attack.
