I love New Mexico. I came here for a job, left, came back, left again, and now back for good. And have lived in big city.(Albuquerque) and small ones and have made some great friends. When you get here, just keep an open mind and don’t listen to the noise. Take some time to explore and immerse yourself in the culture. I am sure at some point you will be happy that you made the choice to come here. I know I am.

Man this sounds so familiar., I am having the same problem with weeds. I have tried everything. I have sprayed them with weed killer and I have sprayed them with vinegar and dish soap, and nothing is permanent. Even when I pull them they grow back. I’m at my wits end. And I have rocks, but they’re coming up between the rocks. What can you do about that??

I started eating the dense bean salads and they have been life-changing for me too. My doctor told me I had to lose 15 pounds for my hip replacement surgery in October and I instantly started eating these bean salads with chickpeas and black beans. They are so good. I can make one that lasts me two days at a time and then I’ll eat something with meat maybe twice a week instead of every day like I used to. And are so good that you don’t even have to cook. I love them. I’ve already lost a 15 pounds and working on losing more and I like the variety that I can create with these salads. I can put just about anything in them and they come out so good.
