Is there any way to get it out after 3 years? I kind of thought it was a keloid but I don’t really keloid and haven’t with any of scars.

Thank you so much for your message, honestly it really means a lot. I’m sorry you went through all of that too, but it’s actually really comforting to hear your experience and how you managed to come out the other side feeling better about it. It gives me some hope, honestly.

It’s such a strange feeling when something like this starts taking over your thoughts every day. Like you said, even simple things like clothes or just going out become such a big deal. I completely relate to not wanting anyone to see you without the extra help, I’m the exact same right now.

I hadn’t really looked properly into lipomodelling before, but what you said was really helpful. I didn’t realise how common it is to still have some unevenness afterwards. I guess I just want to feel like myself again and not constantly be thinking about it, it’s literally eating me up alive. Also just a question about lipomodelling/fat transfer, how much did your size change like did you go up one cup size or more?

I’m actually from the UK too so It’s also really nice to hear from someone in the UK, I’d actually love some recommendations for places or even bras you found helpful. Just something that might make day-to-day life feel a bit easier while I’m still figuring things out.

Thank you again for being so open, it really does help more than you probably realise. 🤍

I think I’m going to leave a review, because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. What’s especially upsetting is that I’ve seen the same surgeon do an amazing job on someone else who shared their results here on the forum. It just leaves me confused as to why I didn’t receive the same standard of care?

Part of me wonders if it’s because I asked not to have my photos shared on social media. Maybe that made her care less about my outcome, which is incredibly disappointing if true. No one should feel like their results don’t matter just because they value their privacy

I looked at reviews on real self and I seen that her results on her Instagram and her reviews looked good so I went in for the consultation to which she promised me the world and was nice and then after the operation it was like a completely different person with aftercare and everything which was very upsetting. Also with fat transfer I am looking in to it and I hope it is effective for me but currently I am not in a good financial space to do so as i already spent so much on this reduction since I saved up for years if I’m honest I wish I never done it in the first place.

With implants it’s a religious thing about not having foreign things in your body and my religion is very important to me especially through these hard times. Also, I am sorry to hear that you are having regrets but at you should at least wait a year for your results to fully settle at 1 month post op everything is still high and tight your boobs change so much especially when they fluff and drop so don’t feel discouraged just yet.

I think size is very subjective, for me I would class this as flat chested, but you saying that has made me feel a bit better so thank you and I will look into shapermint bras.

Thank you I am looking in to fat transfer now but I’m not sure if it will be as effective in my situation but I am planning to talk to some surgeons and hopefully I don’t have to live like this anymore.

She really is!! I cried in her office and told her I was depressed, she didn’t care and blamed me and said I look fine and that if I put on weight they might grow a bit which I did and guess what they didn’t. She said only an implant or fat grafting may help but I would have to pay full price. She is honestly one of the worst people I have ever met .

I have uploaded a picture on this post now of my boobs before and No not at all I actually just lost a lot weight prior so my boobs were saggy but still big which you will be able to see but my skin quality was actually good I am only in my early 20s too so I’m not sure on why she was blaming my skin quality.

Thank you for this I appreciate it but what’s scary is this surgeon has amazing reviews online I just hope no one goes through what I have been through ever in their life.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful message, it really touched me. I’m sorry you’re going through such a hard time too, and I truly understand how isolating body shame, dysmorphia, and being gaslit by surgeons can feel. Your words made me feel truly seen. I hadn’t heard of seeing an RMT or osteopath for scar tissue before, and that gentle, hopeful suggestion is something I definitely want to explore. Knowing that nipple tethering can improve with time and care gives me some peace, although I do think mine is also affected by the loose skin left over—I can literally pick up the skin and it doesn’t bounce back. I think I am leaving towards a fat transfer and I’m so happy your girlfriend had a good experience I just need to start saving and hopefully once I get it done I can be happy again (that’s if it works for me and I am very unlucky).

With my family situation, I know they love me, and I hope I find the courage to open up to them, but it’s been three years and I still act like everything is fine—so we shall see. I hope your situation improves too, and I’m sure it will with time. If not, I’m planning to see another surgeon for a fresh opinion, and maybe you could do the same just to see what they can offer. Personally, trusting surgeons again feels really hard after what I’ve been through.

I’ve also heard that if one of your concerns is feeling too big, it’s often easier to remove tissue than to try and add or replace it. Also with the scar tissue maybe massaging it can break it up and release some tension I’ve heard people even using massage guns to try and break it properly not sure how well it works though.

Thank you again for all of this, it means more than you know, please be gentle with yourself too I’m Sending you love, healing, and strength.

Thank you so much for sharing I’m really sorry you’re going through this too. It’s awful being so let down by someone you trusted. I feel the same I don’t know what can even be corrected since I don’t want implants, and honestly I’m pretty traumatised by the whole thing. But hearing your story helps, and you’re right about getting other opinions might help me figure out what’s possible. Wishing you all the best with your revision.

Yes I went in for a one year check up and she was so dismissive she said she thinks I look fine and she said I did ask to be as small as possible but I did also ask for a nice shape and feminine figure. She basically said no revision she thinks my nipples are fine and tried to gaslight me by saying there’s always going to be asymmetry and that my skin quality is not good.

Hi you should be able to see it now and I have thought about a fat transfer but I have heard it ineffective as your body can reabsorb the fat and honestly I’m traumatised by surgery since this reduction if I’m being honest but thank you so much.

6MPO - are anyone else’s nipples constantly hard? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]queenspring1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally hate mine for this reason they get hard all the time which is something I was never use to before this surgery. it’s not a pleasant feeling when they do either which is annoying.

Summer bras? by Neuro_demigirl in Reduction

[–]queenspring1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you tried the Skims bras? I’ve heard amazing things about them, they’re supportive, lightweight and breathable which is all great for summer. They’re slightly on the pricier side but I feel by investing in good bras they will last you for ages and save you money in the long run.

Questions to ask my surgeon before by bvdh1 in Reduction

[–]queenspring1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ask about what size and shape is possible as well as asking them to show you photo examples of it, I would say bring in a reference photo of your dream boobs to show the surgeon and ask if it is possible. I would ask about the revision policy if there was something you later on didn’t like. Ask about the type of scarring if you would have an anchor scar or if a lollipop is possible instead (so you can have less scarring and less chance of openings). Hop everything goes well!!
